Description: Volquartsen Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 Competition Bolt. This competition bolt upgrade from Volquartsen is CNC-machined from heat-treated 416 stainless steel with a durable DLC coating. Designed for the Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 rifle/pistol chambered in .22 LR., the kit includes the bolt which features Volquartsen's Exact Edge extractor installed, a SureStrike firing pin with spring. The DLC coating of this unit ensures the bolt runs flawlessly with minimal lubrication and maintenance. Help eliminate failures to feed and stove-pipes with this premium aftermarket component from Volquartsen.
This upgrade kit does NOT include the bolt carrier, recoil spring, recoil rod, recoil lug or charging handle. These factory-original components are to be used in conjunction with this Volquartsen Competition Bolt upgrade kit.

The DLC coating on the bolt is so smooth that it needs very little oil to keep it running during competition. If you shooot an M&P 15-22 rifle for steel challenge, this is a must have upgrade.
