I was looking for a replacement trigger and hammer for my 1894 44Mag because the sear wasn’t engaging with the hammer properly and decided to try this one. This trigger is far superior to the stock trigger. After installation in my 44Mag I was able to do a side by side comparison with my other one in 357Mag stock trigger and what a huge difference. Now I have bought a total of 3 because I couldn’t stand the stock trigger in my 357Mag and my 30-30. It is simple to install and I do like the flat face of the trigger. If you’re looking to replace your trigger, you won’t regret getting this one.

I have a pre 1983 Marlin model 1894 and although the hammer doesn’t fit, the trigger and spring do. Works great with my stock hammer and feels absolutely amazing on the break

trigger is well made, had zero issues installing and it reduced the trigger pull on my Marlin from well over 8 pounds to a very crisp 3.5 .

This trigger kit is pretty easy to install and is head an shoulders above the stock trigger. The only issue I found it that it was relatively easy to overtighten the hammer pivot screw which caused issues with the sear reset. Once I figured that out, smooth sailing. I highly recommend this product. I installed it on a Marlin, new (Ruger) production 1894.
