Description: Wren Metal Works Screw Kit For Marlin Rifles. This screw set from Wren Metal Works features all the essential screws used in Marlin 1894, 1895, 336, and 444 lever-action rifles that feature Torx socket heads. Torx head screws provide more positive engagement between the screw head and the driver over traditional flat-head screws. The kit also includes a T15 and a T8 Torx bits.
This Torx screw kit will work for Marlin models of both PRE and POST 2009 manufacturer dates. But please note that due to manufacturing tolerances, some minor gunsmithing may be necessary.

Does everything its supposed to, just be careful not to over torque the screws now that you have a better purchase on the heads, probably keep it around 10 inch pounds

Metal seems way too soft. Stripped out the head of one of the screws just installing it. Not worth the high price. Just get some good quality screwdrivers and stick with the stock screws.

Head of screws strip with no effort at all..

Screw kit is solid. Comes with a couple bits that match the screw heads. Overall pleased with these screws.
2 things though; 1, the bits seem weak..I mixed up the 2 small screws that look similar, but one is longer. Tightening this screw down caused the bit to break off inside the screw head, and I had to cut a groove in the screw head in order to get a flat head on it to back it out. I'm not that strong of a person so to me, the bit seems pretty weak to break that easily.
Another thing, I wish the kit came with front barrel band screw and the foregrip band screw. But wasn't a huge deal.
