Description: Volquartsen Remington 597 Target Hammer. Wire EDM-cut and fully machined from A2 tool steel, this target hammer is produced for the Remington 597 rifle. This drop-in replacement hammer provides approximately 50% lighter trigger pull than the factory hammer. This premium hammer is perfect to keep your rifle in top operational condition.
Note: It is recommended that all Volquartsen parts be installed by a qualified and trained gunsmith.

Didn’t fit. Hole to small for pin.

Hole was too small for the pin to fit through. I used the upgraded spring the hammer didn’t work. I spent hours trying to assemble this until I checked the size of the hole with the pin. We are talking a lot off not just a little.
