Description: Sig Sauer 516 Gen2 14.5" Barrel Upper Receiver Assembly, Semi-Auto. The SIG516 14" upper allow operators to upgrade their current AR-15/M16/M4-type rifles from direct gas impingement systems to the SIG SAUER advanced short-stroke pushrod system. This advanced operating system reduces carbon fouling, excessive heat and unburned powder in the action, ensuring reliability and function that is unmatched. A standard 5.56mm NATO chrome-lined chamber and bore ensure reliable function in any environment.

I honestly bought this after watching that video sig put out showing what this upper is capable of. I believe it is capable of 1" MOA like many reviewers state.
I also sent out my BCG to UCT coatings to have it coated in nickel boron for the added benefit, but it takes two months.
I created a post on /gundeals for this upper one of the last times MWGW had them in stock and was amazed they didn't sell out in hours. You're welcome MWGW.

Very well made piston upper. Right out of the box it worked fine with and without a suppressor. With a suppressor, on the Silencer gas port setting, it gently chucks 55 grain Norma Tactical brass out at 3 O'Clock. Did not get gassed out like I normally do from my DI. An interesting take on the Gas Piston AR 15, with design lineage that can trace its way back to the HK416 via the engineering team.

This is without a doubt the best upper I have ever purchased and not built my self. This unit runs clean, the felt recoil is at least 50-60 percent less. I was surprised to learn after I put this in my cart that I could pick it up. Found out Midwest was right down the road from me. The whole staff is great, there store is small but the whole place is immense due to their online sales. There are two great hunting dogs that hang out in the lobby, while they do not pester you for attention, you can't help but to love on em.

Took a while, but I got my upper, so happy with it, although a little heavy, chrome lined barrel and BCG, and charging handle included...excellent value.
