I just like Timney Triggers

After mulling over whether I wanted to tackle installing the Timney 638 trigger one handed, I threw caution to the wind and ordered the trigger. After getting it in the house it was a very simple process to get it installed and adjusted. I’m very happy with Timney and MGW. The shipping was quick and a YouTube video made it a snap. Set it for 2# to match my other Timney triggers and I’m extremely satisfied with the results

Installed on a Savage Precision Elite. Easy to follow step by step instructions with great big glossy pictures. I just wish that I was able to get the trigger pull weight under two pounds. I mean it is a bench gun and not a hunting rifle. But it sure was nice being able to get rid of that annoying accu-trigger that came on the gun.

I really like my Savage Elite Precision in .308 but the stock accu-trigger assembly is such a distractor when you are really trying to get the perfect group at 200yds and beyond. After installing this trigger and setting the pull weight and the safety with the clear and concise instruction sheet, I can't wait for the weather to clear up and get to the range.
