Description: Grayguns Sig Sauer P226 / P228/ P229 Flat Custom Strut System with Master Spring Kit. The custom strut system fully supports the main spring, reducing friction, spring bowing, and fatigue. The struts are cut using a precision EDM process, hand-finished, and heat-treated to the proper hardness. A durable seat is paired with the upgraded strut. It is made of aircraft-grade aluminum and anodized. This complete system also includes Grayguns' custom P-Series Master Spring Set to help reduce your pull weight for full tuning options. The kit contains a 17-pound spring (red) and a 19-pound spring (blue). Designed for many SIG Sauer P-Series Traditional DA/SA pistols, including the P226, P220, P229, P228 and similar variants.

Made My Already Smooth Factory OEM Stock P226 MK25 Trigger Action Even Smoother

I installed this kit in my SIG Sauer P226 MK25 over a year ago, in May2024. It was a quick, easy, straight forward job. Utilizing the new GGI hammer strut, sear spring, and blue 19-pound main/hammer spring, my MK25 now has an average DA trigger press of 8.0 pounds, and an average SA trigger press of 2.6 pounds. I coupled this kit with the GGI SS P-Series Dual Adjustable Straight Trigger (in black oxide), adjusted so that my new DA pre-travel take-up is < 1/16" with a crisp break at 90° vertical and virtually no over-travel. I already had SIG's Short-Reset-Trigger (SRT) Kit installed, so my tactile and distinct audible reset is 1/16" putting me right back on the wall with no take-up. The whole setup is incredibly smooth, a true pleasure to shoot, and IMHO feels better than the SS factory OEM stock Legion trigger. Good things!

DA really stinks with the stock setup. This gave a smoother DA pull, and about 1# of DA pull reduction. Stock was real gritty and 11#.
