Description: Springfield Armory 1911 9mm Slide Stop. This Springfield Armory slide stop is manufactured for the 1911 EMP compact pistols chambered in 9mm. This steel constructed slide stop features a black finish and functions by giving the slide of the pistol a way to be pulled back and locked into place. This piece is perfect as a spare on the workbench or as an immediate replacement to a lost or damaged component. Please note, this slide stop is for the Springfield 1911 pistols chambered in 9mm.

1911 Slide stop needed for a Girsan 1911

In had a Girsan 1911 in which the slide was not returning to battery because it (the groove in the slide) was catching on the slide stop on return. I replaced it with an MGW product and it works fine now.
MGW service was prompt. I received it quickly.

Dropped in with no fitting, locks back all mags. Not expecting issues with the original, but its nice to have a spare just in case.
MGW has a great selection and prices, plus very fast shipping. And I appreciate they tell you the stock status right up front
