The Canik Optic Interface for non-optic ready pistols provides the ability to mount a Shield Sight, SMS, or MECANIK M01 optic to your desired Canik TP9 model. This interface replaces the rear sight on the pistol with a mounting plate, to which the optic is directly mounted. The non-optic ready interface is made of high-quality 4140 steel, providing a stable and long-lasting base for the compatible optic of your choice.

I have three Caniks and the are all great values. I wanted to put a red dot on my Elite and ordered this plate. It sits so high I could not see my red dot even with the elevation adjust almost maxed out in the lower position. Although looks do not help performance it looks like a block sitting on top of the slide.
