This gas tube includes a mil-spec 1913 top rail that will accept all appliable 1913 and picatinny accessories and with a lower profile allows a 1/3 co-witness sight picture with Aimpoint micro red dot type sights. This MI component is constructed from 6061 aluminum and 4140 steel with a black finish and features a weight of 5 oz., is easy to install, and is not a permanent modifcation to the firearm. The gas tube on an AK platform channels the gas to the action, ensuring smooth operation of the rifle. Please note this part is for standard AK rifles with a gas tube approximately 6.75 inches in length.
