Kick-Eez, Pre-Fit Recoil Pad for Browning Inflex 2, 1.1"

I recently purchased this recoil pad to replace the original pad on my 2012 model year 12 guage Citori 725, which had deteriorated to the point that it was literally falling apart. For some reason, an original Browning replacement pad does not seem to be available from MGW or other vendors. The Kick-Eez pad seems well constucted and is about 1/8 inch longer front to back than the original pad, so it adds a small amount to the gun's length of pull (I did not feel the difference when mounting the gun). The screw holes do match perfectly and removing the old pad and installing the new one took about 5 minutes. The only criticism I have is that the new pad is slightly larger all around, especially at the top and bottom, than the original Browning pad. Accordingly, when installed, the pad sits slightly proud of the stock. To get a perfectly flush pad-to-stock fit will require that a gunsmith grind or file the pad. If the pad fit as described, I'd give it a 5-star rating, but since it doesn't, I give it 3-stars - OK, but not perfect.

The replacement recoil pad fit well but it was challenging to create clearance hole for comb adjustment screw. I would suggest adding a locating template to create the clearance hole.

Perfect fit

My factory A5 recoil pad was disintegrating so I started looking for options. The kick-eez got the best reviews so I ordered one. It fit perfectly and has just a little more padding than the original pad. After shooting several boxes of high brass through it I can say that it performs the same as the factory pad. I would have given 5 stars if it reduced recoil more. However, this is exactly what I thought it would be. I definitely recommend one.

Time will tell if it’s any good.

My factory recoil pad decided to dissolve into pieces and I needed a new replacement recoil pad. The Kick-eze recoil pad was available so I ordered it. I received it in great time, it is a perfect fit direct replacement, installed easily and appears to be more substantial (slightly heavier) than the factory original which showed wear almost instantly at the top and bottom corners. I've shot several rounds of skeet and several rounds of sporting clays since installing it. Feels great. The original lasted 5 years and hopefully by its build and feel this one lasts longer.

I purchased 4 of these for my various 725s. The fit was perfect and definitely reduced recoil over the standard Inflex 2 recoil pad. Very happy with this recoil pad and would definitely recommend it.
