Beretta quality control is in the toilet

I bought an M9A4 recently and was unhappy with the quality of the barrel. Beretta wanted me to send the entire gun in. I decided to eat the cost and just order a new barrel from MGW since they had them in stock. When the new barrel arrived, it too had some blemishes/defects. MGW customer service was great and allowed me to exchange the barrel, but even the replacement has some minor chrome plating and finish defects.
The Italian made Beretta barrels are much higher quality than the barrels made in Gallatin, TN. But they Italy plant doesn't make FDE barrels.
Regardless, none of this is MGW's fault. I'm satisfied with their customer service. But Beretta simply doesn't care. I'll give it a few years and check out Beretta products again after (hopefully) a bunch of people get fired and replaced. But for now, I wouldn't recommend buying anything made by Beretta unless you can look at it in person first.
