Just like the title says. Huge improvement over the stock knob, especially if you have a low mounted scope like I do (1" rings). Mine fits perfectly after I placed one of the included O-rings on top the top side of the stock knob and screwed this one on over it; 2 was too much.

The clamp on knob fit like a glove. It was easy to install and the machine work was perfect. I put some clear fingernail polish on the screws and tightened then down. It is a very good product and the engineering and machine work was perfect.

Some reviewers said that the knob would not fit until they either modified the knob or glued it on without the o-rings. I had a similar problem, but just swapped out the o-rings with Harbor Freight ones (or any #7 Plumber's one). The ones that come with the knob appear to be an odd sized o-ring and are too hard to form fit. I considered sanding the originals to make them thinner but opted for just using a #7. A drop of oil on the o-ring and the threads and it made for a near perfect fit. The seam is barely visible.

This is my 2nd one , put the 1st one on my 6.5 grendel mini action chassis rife, this one I installed on a savage 93r mag, used 1 o-ring and put a small amount of black silicone sealer, let it set for a couple of days, changed the look and whole feel of the rifle

This handle feels fantastic. However, on my new Howa 1500 it had some fitting issues. It comes with two O-rings to go inside and keep it in place. I tried tightening it up with both two and only one ring. It just wouldn't close. Without the rings it was too loose.
I had some Sugru handy from another project. It's a type of clay that firms up into rubber. I put a pea sized piece of Sugru inside and it worked perfectly! The handle is rock solid and looks great. I love it.

I used the Howa Clamp-On Bolt Knob for the first time yesterday. I was impressed at the improved effort required to rotate the bolt at the last few
degrees of shell ejection. I am also happy with with the profile of the bolt knob.
Me thinks that this product improves the Howa bolt operation process.
