It stops trigger action. The only way it works is if you have it on very loose on right side. The top part hugs trigger bar and stops it by friction. Very frustrating, would have to manually pull trigger forward and rack again without ejecting round. Just removed. Disappointed and has stopped me from getting any other of their products.
