GUNLAB Marlin Model 60 Buffer

MGW has a reputation for setlling quality parts. The GunLab buffer is the one you want for your Model 60, even if you have to open the mounting hole up a bit with a drill bit to fit post '81 guns (which is a 10 second job). I made the mistake of trying a 3D-printed buffer off eB** which was advertised as being made specifically for post '81 guns. That buffer didn't make is past 50 rounds before it dissintegrated. The GunLab buffer replaced it and has been working well with no signs of wear after hundreds of rounds. I made the saccrifice of slicing the eB** buffer and a GunLab buffer in half. The eB** buffers are hollow and made from brittle plastic. The GunLab buffer is solid, made from a more durable nylon. (Wish I could upload a photo.) Don't make the mistake of buying an eB** buffer. The GunLab buffer is the one to start and end with.

I would love this item more if I could get a clear answer to what drill bit is required to drill out to 0.160". My gunsmith wants to know prior to attempting

The original buffer had been pounded to pieces by years of shooting. The MGW replacement buffer dropped in and the rifle started shooting again like new !

With Model 60 parts getting harder to find, I was happy that MGW was offering this. The OEM buffer lasted almost 50 years. With this I'll get another 50 years.

I put 60 rounds of federal lighting high velocity through the marlin 60 with the gun lab replacement buffer in there were 4 large cracks in the buffer making it inoperable I do not recommend this product being almost $25 with shipping

The buffer on my model 60 from the 1980s had a broken buffer. It was probably the original one that came with the rifle. Wow, this one Was meant for a newer model 60 with some light modification to make it the correct diameter for the pin it works just fine. Can’t complain, since the only issue was one I knew I’d have to deal with…the replacement does its job. Not sure what else I can say.

This part is as advertised. Installation and fitment were straightforward. Works great.

Install was easy. Instructions were simple on drilling part out to fit different generations of Model 60. Performs as advertised.

The Gunlab Marlin Model 60 Buffer fit in like the factory one. Shoots great now just like new.
