Description: Marlin XT-22 Front Takedown Screw, Nickel. This steel screw features a nickel plated finish and a hex head design. This is the factory replacement for plated versions of the XT-22. FITS THE XT-17!

Read the review previous to mine saying that he took a risk in ordering this one due to the XT-17 being out of stock. He’s not wrong and it infact does fit the XT-17.
Other then a different finish I cannot complain and it was exactly what I needed.

I needed this for a 17 cal. but it was back ordered and not available. Found this one for a 22 took a chance on it working or not. It was the exact fit.
