Description: Marlin 39A/39M Firing Pin, Old Style. Manufactured from quality steel, this firing pin is designed for "old-style" Marlin 39A and 39M model rifles. The firing pin strikes the primer of a loaded cartridge when the trigger is pulled. Rely on factory-original Marlin parts and accessories to keep your rifle in top shooting shape.

Good and bad but good after all

Its good, it cycles new rounds in and doesn't get caught while reloading, but my problem was when I used winchester ammo and some shot but most of them were only striking on the center and not the rim, thought it was my bullets but they shot through in my savage, did a quick comparison and the top part of the new pin I ordered was rounded so it wasnt hitting the rim, but it shoots cci's flawlessly, after all a good product for my golden 39a heirloom :)
