Beretta Xtreme-S 92x Performance Fire Control Group

The Xtreme-S kit is an easy drop in replacement for the stock 92/M9 parts and other make a huge difference in performance. The lighter hammer spring and short reset trigger bar make the DA pull much improved, and the new sear and hammer make the SA pull light and crisp. 4 pounds in SA is easily achieved, but you can probably get it even lighter if you do some judicious polishing. The DLC coating seems to wear off the sear/hammer interface fairly quickly anyway.

This is a must have for all 92FS variant shooters to smooth out trigger pull and reset. Moderate installation difficulty but there are plenty of good YouTube tutorials to walk through each application. I installed this trigger group in both an M9A4 and 92X Centurion RDO. I can say the trigger is vastly improved over the stock triggers they came with. I dry fired them after installation and I was very underwhelmed. I was expecting a lot more from Beretta's flagship trigger group. Especially the one being in the legendary 92X Performance. The pre-travel is too long and there is slight over-travel. The slight over-travel causes the reset to be a tad too long. The break is nice and smooth and occurs farther forward thanks to the shape of the included trigger, which I feel is the highlight of this kit. What really makes this trigger group shine is a Langdon Tactical trigger bar along with a Wilson Combat chrome silicon trigger spring. The Langdon Tactical trigger bar virtually eliminates the pre-travel while fully eliminating the over-travel, which makes the trigger pull and reset extremely short versus just short. The trigger feels very precise versus sloppy, which was the reason I felt underwhelmed. The Wilson Combat chrome silicon trigger spring gives a more consistent trigger pull feel as opposed to the limp feeling that starts halfway through the trigger pull and only goes downhill from there with the stock trigger spring. I am using the Performance hammer springs that came with the kits. So far I have not had any light primer strikes with Fiocchi, Herter's, Winchester and Federal American Eagle. My groups have gone from 6-8 inches of vertical stringing at 7 yards to a half dollar sized hole right in the center. I am getting a fist size group at 15 yards vs a dinner plate. I am extremely impressed with the results of the LTT, Beretta and WC mash up. At 120 dollars, this group is a steal for the couple of components you will need from the kit. For the MSRP of 200 dollars, it is not. I feel that this kit alone only addresses the trigger break location being too far back and the hard wall issues I have with the stock Beretta trigger, but not the slop. If Beretta could only include the LTT trigger bar and a chrome silicon trigger spring in this kit, it would be perfection.

Absolute game changer! Well worth the price for a significantly improved trigger. Installed into a Girsan Regard with zero issues, DA and SA pulls dropped by almost half, SA reset is extremely short and removes the reset slop/take-up.

Excellent product just what I needed

I dropped this system into a garsin regard mc which from the factory came with a 12lb. double action and a 5lb. single action. After installing the 92X match firing group double action dropped to 6lb. and single dropped to 2lb.

Everything fit perfect, gun shoots much smoother, perfect amount of trigger pull and the price was better than everywhere else

Installed this myself but not for someone without some armory experience. A you tube video was informational; a video by Beretta. The one draw back is the take-up on the trigger until sear trips. A bit more travel to get used to at first.

Trigger feels much better. Haven't fired the pistol yet, but dry fire is improved. Installation wasn't bad at all.
