Helped to correct a light primer strike problem

My Beretta A400 Xcel began having intermittent light primer strikes after fewer than 5000 rounds. A thorough cleaning of the trigger assembly and bolt didn't fix the problem. I then installed a new Berreta Hammer Spring (Code:C97258) and Firing Pin. The new hammer spring was ~2 mm longer than the original. The new firing pin was 0.1 mm longer than the original. I have experienced no light primer strikes in the ensuing 500 rounds since replacing these parts. Replacing the firing pin involves only one tricky operation, removal of the Firing Pin Retaining Pin. First, compress the firing pin forward, then remove the retaining pin. This can be easily done using a paper clip. Replacing the hammer spring is more difficult. I included step by step instructions in my review of the hammer spring. I was helped by a YouTube video that described how to first remove the Firing Pin Stop Spring Pin, followed by the Hammer Spring Guide, before removing the Hammer Spring.
