Forged from 7075-T6 aluminum, this upper receiver assembly is produced for the DPMS Gen II Hunter modern sporting rifle chambered in 7.62x51mm. This innovative upper assembly showcases a 20" 416 stainless steel barrel with a Teflon black coating. The Gen II Hunter upper assembly is lighter and more ergonomic than current LR-308 designs with its forged monolithic bolt carrier group and carbon-fiber free-floating handguard. Its revolutionary extraction system features an enlarged ejection port, improved extractor, and dual ejectors. This upper receiver assembly is perfect for upgrading your current DPMS build or starting a new DPMS workbench project.
