Description: Glock Extended Slide Stop Lever & Spring (01) 9mm & .40 S&W (Gen5, Includes Crossovers, Excludes Slimline), Ambidextrous, Marked 47248. Made from steel, this extended slide stop lever is an OEM Glock component. The ambidextrous slide stop is designed for Glock Gen5 and Crossover pistols chambered in either 9mm or .40 S&W - excluding Slimline models. The lever provides a means to manually lock the slide open or release it from an open position and features a horizontal texture pattern on the exposed levers. It is made to the same high standards in material and workmanship as the parts that originally came in your Glock firearm. This part is perfect to replace your worn or damaged parts or to have as a spare to keep your Glock in top operating condition.

This is the real factory glock part, like the lever that came in my G34 Gen 5 MOS!
It sticks out just a little further than the knockoffs you'll find elsewhere. I'm going to drop these in my G45 and G47.

I wasn’t completely sure if I’d like this at first but for only a few bucks I figured I give it a try. I’m glad I did. It was completely worth it that I even purchased a second one for my other glock. My son enjoyed it as well so much he asked me to put one on his Glock 19. This makes finding and engaging the slide stop lightning fast and effortlessly. I recommend this for any gen 5. Installation was a breeze as well.

Great change from the factory lever,my hands were severely burned and are weaker than normal. This simple change out part made all the difference I can now change mags without coming over the top with left hand to pull and release slide , If you can change a flat tire you can install this part , it’s simply the best improvement I’ve made to the G5 mod.26

This is a top quality Glock product, and like Glock firearms, it just works. It is positioned in a perfect location, so as not to interfere with the operation of the gun, but to be exactly where you want it when you want to release or lock the slide, It adds convenience and speed to operating the firearm. I installed two of these in my wife's and my Glock 45s. The stock version was challenging to both set and release the slide. Now these functions are a breeze.
I will need to be cautious with my thumb to prevent last round slide lock, but that comes with the territory with any slide lock. We are very satisfied, especially with the price.

The pic makes the part look like it has a matte finish but is actually a gloss finish that matches the standard OEM controls. Easy to install, but when I had everything put back together again the slide release did not function as intended until I replaced the spring with the one that was on the original OEM slide release. Now it functions as intended and is a vast improvement over the standard release.
