Description: Smith & Wesson X-Frame Extractor Rod. This OEM factory original stainless steel constructed extractor rod is manufactured for the Smith & Wesson X-frame Models of revolvers chambered in the the .500 S&W Magnum, .460 S&W Magnum, .45 Colt, .44 S&W Special, .44 Magnum and .454 Casull cartridges. The extractor rod functions by applying force to the extractor during operation of the revolver.

This is what I needed for my S&W 500, I’m no gunsmith and I accidentally broke the Extractor Rod Cap with the Extractor Rod . But hey, you learned the hard way.
