Description: Smith & Wesson Model 67/617/625 Rear Sight Assembly. This OEM factory original black coated steel rear sight assembly is manufactured for the Smith & Wesson Model 67, 617, & 625 K & L-Frame revolvers chambered in .22 LR, .38 Special, and .45 ACP. Installed onto the frame of the revolver, this piece assembled rear sight functions by providing means of quick and easier target acquisition for the firearm's operator. This piece is perfect as a spare, immediate replacement, or for the next workshop project.

The merchant needs to tell the consumer that the rear sight is only for newer S&W models. This one has a round front near the mounting screw; older models have square fronts. If you're looking for a rear sight for a newer S&W then this fits the bill.
