Made from steel with a black finish, this front night iron sight will fit Sig Sauer P Series pistol models including the P220, P225, P226, P227, P228, P229, P238, P239, P365, P938 and P320 chambered in popular calibers such as 380 Auto, 9mm, .40 S&W, .45 ACP, .357 SIG and more. My Sig P226 is a 1990 model it has original sights. I bought this because my eyesight is not good in dim light and it is hard to see the sights. I took it in the closet and the sight glowed, very visible. But...when in daylight it is almost nonexistent. My original sight was better. I didn't think the night sight was only functional at night that wouldn't make sense. It does glow so I thought that it is possibly my vision. I don't know. It is currently the lightest paperweight you can imagine. I know this product works because people rave abut it. But it doesn't work for me. I do not recommend this product.
