Description: Apex Tactical FN FNX-45 Magazine Base Pad Extension. Machined from aluminum with a black Type III hardcoat anodized finish, this extended base pad is designed for the FN FNX45 pistol. This Apex Tactical base pad extends the capacity of a factory original magazine by 2.5 rounds! Two and a half rounds means the extension provides 2 additional rounds of capacity with enough space for the stack to further compress the magazine spring to allow a fully loaded magazine to be seated with the slide in battery.

The product is well made, however after adding the extension plate it gives the
Magazine to much play in the mag well and doesn’t fit snug like a factory mag does without the extension plate. I’ve shot both the factory mag and a mag with the extension plate and because of the to much play in the extension it caused a jam every 1-5 rounds making it not reliable at all in my opinion. On another note never had an issue with my fnx45 tac till I tried this product. Save your money, not worth 2 extra rounds. Stick to the factory mags and you’ll be just fine.
