MAXUS II BARREL GREAT EXCEPT….

The barrel is exactly what I had expected; and it arrived in about 36 hours at the local UPS facility. Then UPS spent 4 days getting it to me. Oh well. The barrel has a modified flush choke tube installed. The satin finish is beautiful and flawless. I got around to screwing the choke tube out to put in a turkey tube and found rust and pitting under the factory choke tube. It’s minor; and I’ll polish it and keep it lubed. That was disappointing. If turkey season was not pending, I would insist on a replacement.
