Description: Apex Tactical FN 509 / FNS Compact Disassembly Fixture. This disassembly fixture by Apex Tactical Specialties properly holds the FN 509 or FNS Compact pistol frame in order to locate a pin punch for removal of the unlocking pin. Designed for use with FN 509 and FNS Compact model handguns chambered in 9mm and .40 S&W, the fixture includes a red anodized aluminum upper and lower jig plate labeled for easy use, a polymer spacer, one 2" alignment screw and three 1/8" fixture pins. A small hammer, flat blade screw driver and 3/32" pin punch will be needed to use this tool.

Fits:

  • All Current FN 509 and FNS Compact models
  • NOT for use with the FNS or FNS Longslide models
  • NOT intended for use with the FNX Series pistols

Includes:

  • (1) Disassembly Lower Jig Plate
  • (1) FN 509 & FNS-C Upper Jig Plate
  • (1) 2" Alignment Screw
  • (1) Polymer Spacer
  • (3) 1/8" Fixture Pins

Tools Required:

  • Small Hammer - between 6 to 10 oz is recommended
  • Common (Flat Blade) Screw Driver
  • 3/32" Pin Punch - recommended no longer than 1" of 3/32" to prevent deflection

CAUTION: Must be used on a solid surface (i.e. vise anvil, concrete floor or extremely solid work bench over a table leg). DO NOT USE on your kitchen table or counter top. These surfaces are NOT stable enough.

Cute and ABSOLUTELY INDISPENSABLE!!! Very easy to set up and the pin was out in 5 min. I had more issues putting the pin back in. It kept catching on an edge, had to rotate pin slightly to get it started and then all was good.
