Description: Smith & Wesson 22-A, 22-S Recoil Guide Rod Spacer. This Smith & Wesson factory original recoil guide rod spacer is manufactured from polymer and is designed for the Model 22A and 22S pistols chambered in .22 LR. The spacer fills space by the recoil guide rod and allows for a secure and a snug fit of the components. This quality component is perfect as a spare or for immediate use incase of a lost or damaged component.
Note: It is recommended that all Smith & Wesson parts be installed by a qualified and trained gunsmith.

The item was good worked well. The price was pretty high . I called Smith and Wesson for the part. They were out of stock. The lady told me the parts cost retail was .59 cents. These are pretty expensive from MGW

This is one of those critical components that you need when you don't have. There are folks that recommend that you replace every 700-1000 rounds (though some people extend longer). While that might be a lot during an ammo shortage, it is not very much at all for rimfire shooting. And with the best price here, why not buy a bunch so you never have to worry?
