Description: Smith & Wesson J/K/L/N/X-Frame Thumbpiece Nut, Stainless. This thumbpiece nut is manufactured for the Smith & Wesson J, K, L, N, and X revolvers chambered in various calibers such as .22 LR, .22 WMR, .357 Mag, and .38 Special and more. This OEM factory original stainless steel constructed thumbpiece nut secures the thumbpiece to the revolver. This part is perfect as a spare on the workbench or as an immediate replacement for a lost or damaged piece.

For reasons I don’t understand, the dimensions do not seem to match the black one that came with the TRR8. This made for a loose lever and rattle. It screws on just fine but apparently not as far down. Beware, but your experience may vary.
